Hi! Welcome to KIDBIZ! I was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in White Bear Lake, Minnesota until the age of 17 when I joined a folk/pop music group (along with my sister, Sheri) in 1963 called The GoldeBriars. We performed around the country for 2-1/2 years and recorded three albums with Epic-Columbia Records...with one of the albums still unreleased due to the group's breakup....hopefully, all the GoldeBriars' music will be out on a CD soon.
I've written a book about the GoldeBriars called: The GoldeBriars' Story "Whatever Happened to
Jezebel?" which is based on my travelog and diary while in the group.
It also includes a film clip of the GoldeBriars' performance on the 1964 ABC

Today I live in Central Florida (Lakeland) with my husband Bill where we've lived for over 25 years.
I started creating "right choice songs" in 1987 and the first song I penned was "Please, Don't Smoke" followed by "Say No To Drugs". My first album, "Make the Right Choice" was produced and marketed by Kimbo Educational (Long Branch, New Jersey) and released in 1989. I wrote these songs for elementary age kids as it's such an important time of their lives for "good influence" and to help put them on the right track.
My second album I wrote and produced called "Stop & Think" was recorded and released in 1993 by my own group called "The Right Choice Kids", children 6 through 12 years old from Central Florida. The Right Choice Kids were together for over two years and performed locally and at fairs and were lots of fun to work with! They were staged and choreographed by Patricia Conner, an elementary music teacher for over 20 years in Lakeland. The concept I was striving for with "Stop & Think" is a "kids for kids" sound to help kids better relate to the important messages of these songs. Both "Make the Right Choice" and "Stop & Think" albums are educationally endorsed by the U.S. Office of Substance Abuse (Rockville, Maryland) and the National Families in Action (Atlanta, Georgia) and meet the educational criteria for use by schools and other organizations.
My KIDBIZ puppets, songs and plays are my aspirations to present KIDBIZ as a positive influence for kids with character building values to grow up with that are entertaining & fun to use.
